Adding new contacts and setting widget preferences
The Add button in the Recipients grid provides instant access to a form to register new contacts. This interface is almost identical in form to the widget intended for contacts who want to sign up online. (Here, however, there are no conditions to accept and no captcha).

Once the contact has been added, simply click on the Refresh button in the top right-hand corner shown here to refresh the page. You should then see the new recipient at the bottom of the Recipients grid, or you can search for them using the filter.

Some configuration choices are possible with the registration interfaces. You can access them via the widget link at the top of the interface.
For instance, you can display which groups the contacts can join (as long as you make them visible). In the following image, you can see that new contacts who sign up can see the groups you choose to display (this list is the same as the one in the predefined groups tab).

You can also arrange for a registration confirmation email and/or text message to be sent to each new member who registers.
When you add a contact with the Add button or when someone subscribes to your messages using the widget, this contact is automatically geolocalized. This means that when an address and postcode are entered, a latitude and longitude are obtained automatically. This initiative is designed to optimise the use of the map.
